Admissions to B.E. / B.Tech Courses in TamilNadu – TNEA-2019

Online Registration for Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions 2019 – TNEA-2019 is in progress. The students, who completed +2 (10+2 / HSC ) and wish to join Engineering Courses in TamilNadu, can register for the same. The Online portal of Directotorate of Technical Education (DOTE) is open for registration till 31-May-2019.

DOTE conducts the Online registration and Online Conselling for admissions to B.E. / B.Tech Courses offered in the following colleges:

Category I

1.1 Seats in B. E. & B. Tech. Degree Courses in Government, Government Aided and Seats Surrendered by Self-Financing Engineering Colleges affiliated to Anna University.

• Seats in Government Engineering Colleges (Affiliated to Anna University)
• Seats in Aided courses in Government Aided Engineering Colleges (Affiliated to Anna University)
• Seats in Central Electro Chemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi(Affiliated to Anna University)

1.2 (a) Seats in B. E. & B. Tech. Degree Courses in University Departments and Constituent Colleges of Anna University.

• College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University
• Madras Institute of Technology, Chrompet Campus, Anna University
• Alagappa College of Technology, Guindy Campus, Anna University
• School of Architecture and Planning, Guindy Campus, Anna University
• Constituent Colleges of Anna University

1.2 (b) Seats in B. E. Degree Courses in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering (Tamil Medium) in University Departments and Constituent Colleges of Anna University.

1.3 Seats in B.E. Degree Courses in Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram.

Category II

• Seats in Self-Supporting courses in Government Aided Engineering Colleges (Affiliated to Anna University)
• Seats surrendered by Self Financing Engineering Colleges (Affiliated to Anna University)
• Seats in Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET)(Affiliated to Anna University)

Note: For B.Arch admissions, DOTE will issue a separate notification.

Since the applications are registered online, students can apply at thier convenience, either at their home or at any browsing centers outside. In case you find any difficulty in filling-in the applications online, you can seek the help from the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFC). Except the certifcate verification, which is done at the TFCs, the entire admissions / counseling process is online.
